Trajec3D Version 1.6.1.0 available for download

Updated: Dec 15, 2019

Please manually uninstall any version prior to Version 1.6.0.0 from your computer, as Version 1.6.1.0 will not automatically uninstall these versions. I decided to change the installation directory to standardise the the installation folders for all BasRock software. Do this with either:

  • Control Panel => Programs => Uninstall "Trajec3D Beta".

  • In Windows Explorer, double click on "C:\Program FilesTrajec3D\BetaUninstall.exe"

  • On 64-bit computers "C:\Program Files (x86)\Trajec3D Beta\Uninstall.exe".

The are now two potential download routes that can be followed; the first is the normal installation file, and the second a directory with all relevant files. The second option can be used after Trajec3D has been installed on the computer at least once from an installation file. Thereafter, the second option allows a direct download of the Trajec3D-folder, and Trajec3D.exe can be executed directly from this folder, and shortcuts manually created.

Version 1.6.1.0 adds the ability to read a CSV section-file with coordinates, and the triangulations automatically created. The image below explains the three steps to follow:

  • Step 1: Draw the outline of the slope geometry with coordinates measured from the (0,0) point as illustrated. Transfer the coordinates to an Excel spreadsheet from the top-left to bottom-right, but do not include the (0,0) point.

  • Step 2: Save the file as a Comma delimited CSV-file (or create the coordinates directly in Notepad in the format shown and save with an CSV-extension).

  • Step 3: Load the CSV-file in Trajec3D with "Mat1 => Load a custom section (CSV)"

Enjoy, Frans
