I bought a new laptop with Windows 8.1, and some of the new security features forces a change to the installation folder. Keeping the software installations under "C:|Program Files" now require administrator rights, and will complicate installations on work computers. I decided to go with "C:|BasRock|XYZ", which will keep all BasRock software packages in a single directory.
Please uninstall previous software versions manually before installing the latest versions, this can be done with:
Control Panel => Programs => Uninstall XYZ
Run "Uninstall.exe" from the XYZ installation directory.
All software updates after this blog post will thus install to "C:|BasRock|XYZ", and previous versions should be manually uninstalled. After this change, all future installations will again automatically uninstall the previous older version.
Note: XYZ represents GEM4D, Trajec3D & PhotoCoreLog
